Hitech City: Lions Club of Hyderabad - Hi-Tech City, celebrated the 138th birth anniversary of Helen Keller on a grand note at Helen Keller Institute here on Wednesday. P Umer Khan cut cake and donated hearing aids to two hearing impaired students.
A three-day camp was launched to identify people with hearing disabilities. Cultural programmes were organised including a movie on the American educator was shown to students to inspire them. Lions Club zonal president J Anjaiah, principal Armugam, Padmavathi, Sridhar Reddy, staff, students, parents and others took part.
