An Army delegation led by Major General N Srinivas Rao, General Officer Commanding (GOC), Telangana & Andhra Sub Area (TASA) visited Hyderabad Police Command Control Room on Friday to witness the IT initiatives taken by Telangana Police to carry out population friendly and effective policing. 

Secunderabad: An Army delegation led by Major General N Srinivas Rao, General Officer Commanding (GOC), Telangana & Andhra Sub Area (TASA) visited Hyderabad Police Command Control Room on Friday to witness the IT initiatives taken by Telangana Police to carry out population friendly and effective policing.

Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad Anjani Kumar, IPS welcomed the delegation and briefed on various initiatives being taken. He also thanked the Army for hosting the recently conducted Security Convergence meeting and expressed his desire to continue the same in future to ensure a close coordination between Army and the State Police. He also appreciated the army's good work during the civil calamities and specially the role played by Telangana & Andhra Sub Area. The delegation was given an elaborate briefing on the set up at the Command and Control room.

Additional Commissioner of Police (Law & Order), DS Chauhan, Additional Commissioner of Police (Admin), T Murali Krishna, Joint Commissioner of Police (Special Branch), Tarun Joshi, Station Commander, Brigadier MD Upadhyay and senior officers from HQ TASA and Police Department were also present on the occasion.
