Sangareddy: District Joint Collector Nikhila on Thursday ordered the officials concerned to take necessary actions in advance to avoid inconveniences by the proposed indefinite strike by All India Motor Transport Congress (AIMTC) on July 20.

The JC held a review meeting with the officials of RTO, Agriculture, Public Distribution System, Police, RTC and other departments at her chamber at the Collectorate office. She asked officials to make sure the transport system in all the departments is not affected by the strike by making alterative arrangements. She ordered the agriculture officials to make arrangements by talking to the agencies to transport the fertilisers for the farmers directly to the sale point. Vegetables and PDS should be delivered to the public without any obstacles.
