Charminar: All roads led to Eidgahs and mosques as Muslims attired in their best offered prayers and exchanged greetings. The air was filled with festivity as children and elders greeted eid Mubarak to each other with hugs and lots of love.

Thousands offered prayers at Mecca Masjid and other mosques. At the historic Mir Alam Eidgah over one lakh people offered prayers. Many Muslims sacrificed goats and sheep and distributed them to relatives and friends. People were seen negotiating with animal dealers on the stalls set up on streets. Everyone had a great day as the festival of sacrifice brought in something for everyone.
