Though there have been a lot of campaigns like Swachh Bharat, Swachh Hyderabad and creating awareness among the people to keep surroundings clean, there is no change seen in some of the areas, GHMC official said. This is being continued from couple of days and yet no one to question them, why are they doing so? Will this remain same way in future also, she adds.
Smitha, a caretaker of street animals said, “Dispose of wastage at open places can result in contaminate water, unexpected releases of toxins and environmental pollution. There are so many related things happening because of the garbage thrown on lands especially, the street animals like dog and cow are suffering in pain the plastics which they throw are eaten by them. There are a few serious impacts like this due to careless garbage disposal.” Even educated, well-off people come in their cars and dump waste here, she adds.
