Jharasangam: Jaheerabad MP BB Patil performed special puja at Sri Mallannagutta Ashram at the outskirts of Chilepala village on Monday. Seer of the Peetham Sri Sri Basalinga Avaduthagiri Maharaj along with Vedic pandits accorded him a traditional welcome.
The MP performed puja to Mallikarjuna Swamy atop the hill and showered the Linga on the premises. A large number of devotees from Karnataka, Maharashtra and both Telugu states thronged the temple. The MP was felicitated with a shawl in a public meeting. TRS in charge Manik Rao, leaders Umakanth, Santhosh Patil, Vijayender Reddy, Narsimlu and others were present.
