Naidu bus yatra begins today

Hyderabad: Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu begins his “Telugujati Atma Gourava Yatra” today. Arrangements were in place in a Guntur village, Pondugula, from where the Yatra will take off Sunday morning . Naidu will leave for Guntur by road after paying floral tributes to party founder and former Chief Minister N T Rama Rao at NTR Ghat at 6.30 am. His convoy will include a van with an open dais where from he would address the public at the whistle stop meetings.

Naidu will address the first meeting at Pondugula village in Dachepalli Mandal at 11 am. He will tour Gurajala, Sattenapalli, Pedakurapadu, Tadikonda, Mangalagiri and Narsaraopet mandals for six days before entering Krishna district. The bus Yatra is basically aimed at demonstrating his solidarity with the Seemandhra people who are up in arms against the state bifurcation moves. Naidu wanted the Centre to address the concerns of the Seemandhra before dividing the state. Naidu also intends to expose the stand of the YSRCP as well as the Congress party on the state bifurcation issue.
