T note not yet ready

The Home Ministry is expected to get ready with the note by the time AICC Chief Sonia Gandhi returns from her US trip so as to kick-start the process at the government level for according statehood to Telangana.
Hyderabad: The much-awaited T note is not yet ready. The Union Ministry for Home Affairs is still on the exercise, according to highly placed sources in New Delhi. The Home Ministry is expected to get ready with the note by the time AICC Chief Sonia Gandhi returns from her US trip so as to kick-start the process at the government level for according statehood to Telangana.
The note should be tabled before the Union Cabinet for its final nod. But before that, its draft has to be routed through the Law Ministry, said the sources. Union Home Minister Susheel Kumar Shinde has said that the note would be ready by the month-end. His statement evoked strong protests from the Seemandhra leadership of the party. T protagonists are, however, firm on hastening up the process.
