With indications that Cabinet note on Telangana might not include any mention of Hyderabad’s status, the Telangana JAC, for the time being, decided to shift its entire focus on to the success ‘Sakala Jana Bheri’.

With indications that Cabinet note on Telangana might not include any mention of Hyderabad’s status, the Telangana JAC, for the time being, decided to shift its entire focus on to the success ‘Sakala Jana Bheri’.
Key leaders of TJAC would take part in preparatory meetings set to be held in 10 district headquarters in the next week so as to mobilise crowd in huge numbers for the Hyderabad meeting. TJAC chief Prof Kodandaram, however, said that if need arises they would do a rethink and embark on New Delhi tour before September 29.
TJAC to meet CP
Meanwhile, a delegation from TJAC is likely to meet police commissioner Anurag Sharma regarding permission for September 29 meeting. It may be mentioned here that TJAC had written a letter to police chief on September 15 seeking permission. Their application was still kept pending since police department was engaged in Ganesh Nimajjanam arrangements for the last few days.
