National workshop at MJCET

Hyderabad: Department of Information Technology of Muffakham Jah College of Engineering & Technology (MJCET) is conducting a three-day national workshop on ‘Big Data Analytics’. The workshop commenced on Monday and will conclude on Wednesday. The objective of the workshop is to bring people together from both academia and industry to discuss big data issues, case studies, tools, platforms, exchange ideas and thoughts. The workshop will be benefit academicians and research students working on real world problems of big data.

Big data recently has become a new ubiquitous term to describe large datasets. The main challenge in handling big data lies in capturing data, providing a proper representation, managing and analysing data to extract meaningful information in the given domain in a fast and efficient manner. Effective management and analysis of big data would bring great benefits and unique opportunities to the users.

The participants of the workshop include industry personnel’s, faculty, research scholars and PG students from various parts of the country like Andhra University, Annamacharya Institute of Technology and Sciences, Rajampet, Aurora's Technological And Research Institute, IIIT Chittoor, Sri City, IIT Kharagpur, JNTU Anantapur, K L University, Maulana Azad National Urdu University, Rajarambapu Institute of Technology, Islampur (Sangli), University of Hyderabad, Vignan Institute Of Technology and Science, Deshmuki.
