Education minister G Jagadish Reddy launched a ‘Value Empowerment Programme’ for schools and colleges at his office on Friday. The programme was conceived by Vedic Oasis for Inspiration, Culture and Education (VOICE), the educational wing of ISKCON, Medchal.

Education minister G Jagadish Reddy launched a ‘Value Empowerment Programme’ for schools and colleges at his office on Friday. The programme was conceived by Vedic Oasis for Inspiration, Culture and Education (VOICE), the educational wing of ISKCON, Medchal.
The programme aims at empowering children by inculcating moral values that build character and go a long way in shaping powerful leaders of tomorrow. It is based on values upheld in the Bhagavad Gita. “All schools must actively participate in the programme and contribute towards meaningful, value based education in schools that will enable your children to live a principle centred life of honesty, compassion and responsibility,” said G Jagadish Reddy.
