Water Board invokes RR Act for non-payment of dues
Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWS&SB) invoked the RR Act by confiscating mobile assets for non-payment of dues from a defaulter in Banjara Hills, Road No. 12, on Friday and three defaulters in Bhoiguda, RP Road and Manohar Talkies on Saturday.
The occupants’ water connections were disconnected and were also served notices under the Act. Assets including sofa sets, salon chairs, bikes, TVs and fridge were seized by the officials of vigilance wing and task force of the Water Board.
