The University of Hyderabad Joint Action Committee for Social Justice has decided to intensify the agitation over the suicide of Dalit research scholar Vemula Rohith from Wednesday. The JAC, at an emergency meeting held late on Tuesday evening, decided to organise relay hunger strike on a largescale.

The JAC, at an emergency meeting held late on Tuesday evening, decided to organise relay hunger strike on a largescale.
The JAC members said they would continue their stir till their demands were met. They demanded that compensation of `5 crore to the family of Rohith, employment in government sector to a kin of Rohith, home for his family.
