Government degree college demanded in Toopran

Medak: Demanding a government degree college at Toopran, ABVP leader Sai along with mandal leaders submitted a memorandum to Collector Dharma Reddy on Monday. The memorandum said that students were facing hardship due to the lack of college. Most of them were dropouts who were unable to go to long distance areas for pursuing education, it was lamented. The ABVP leaders said that though the Chief Minister gave assurance on the establishment of college a year back, works were not started so far. They demanded that the college be made to function from ensuing academic year.
