ISIS man from Telangana dies in Syria A 25 year old youngster from Telangana lost his life after joining the Islamic State in Syria. Identified as Hateef Wasim, son of Chandpasha; Police investigation confirmed that the youngster was in London to pursue Masters in November 2014 but got attracted to IS and was killed in Syria war.

“Although there is no information of how he died, his family has been informed about his death. Through investigations, it was found that Hateem Wasim had visited Mancherial seven months ago for his sister’s marriage and the probe is on to find whom he met at that place,” said a senior Telangana official.
Police are investigating whether he had influenced any other youngsters and took them along to the organization in Syria.
Hateef completed his B. Tech from Shadan College of Engineering in Hyderabad and had no terror activities but was attracted to the IS in London.
