The model’s about aggregating and pulling in all these different fitness providers and making it easy for customers to discover a variety of workouts. We want to increase awareness and the importance of physical exercise in Hong Kong, which is lagging behind it's peer Asian cities. Variety really keeps people motivated, it's a constant challenge to discover your limits.

ClassCruiser's studio partners benefit by filling otherwise under-subscribed classes with fresh faces as well as gaining the chance to convert ClassCruiser users to members.

We plans to expand to all cities in Asia within the next 12 to 18 months, but we want to get the Hong Kong market right first. We are all from Hong Kong, so seeing our city reap the benefits of a service like this is the most important thing to us.

"The idea came to us after one of us was complaining about how difficult it was to find a Pilates class, many of the current providers didn't offer free trials, didn't have prices or class schedules listed online, and the big-box gyms that offered classes were asking for long term contracts, it was just tedious and a pain. At the same time, we came across a successful monthly fitness pass in the US, so we decided to follow a similar model and bring the solution to Hong Kong," says Indian entrepreneur Rosh the founder of ClassCruiser.
