Jammalamadugu (Kadapa): Unidentified persons attacked Vignan School at Jammalamadugu, in the early hours of Thursday. The miscreants destroyed furniture and burnt the school van. B Chandramouli, district Congress secretary is the correspondent of the school.
The incident is linked to the clashes between two groups of Congress party when the followers of MLA Adinarayana Reddy attacked and injured Congress representative Nagendra Yadav and district secretary Chandramouli at Gandikota on Wednesday.
Responding to the incident, Nagendra Yadav described this incident as done by cowards and also heinous. Congress party leader Bandi Prabhakar speaking in a press meet here on Thursday condemned the attack on Nagendra Yadav and Chandramouli on Wednesday.
Quoting the attack on Vignan School, he said that it was not proper to attack the BC leaders and their properties who are developing politically. Prabhakar demanded the government to take serious action against the miscreants.
