YSRCP leaders visit power loom owner's house

Siricilla (Karimnagar): Several leaders of YSRCP visited the house of power loom owner Alle Sathaiah at Subhashnagar in Siricilla town of Karimnagar district on Friday and expressed their condolences to the family members of Sathaiah. It may be noted that the power loom owner Alle Sathaiah died of heart attack four days ago after he got a power bill for a huge amount. Earlier, he used to get power bill of about Rs 2,000 per month. But some days ago, he got a power bill for an additional amount of Rs 40,000 per month. On seeing the bill, he was shocked, suffered stroke and died. Knowing about the incident, YSRCP honorary president Y S Vijayamma directed the party leaders to visit the house of Sathaiah. Accordingly, the YSRCP leaders Konathala Ramakrishna, Mekapati Chandrasekhar Reddy, Bajireddy Govardhan and K K Mahender Reddy visited the house and expressed their condolences to the family members of Sathaiah. They said that several power loom owners committed suicide during the TDP regime in the past. Similar situation has been prevailing for the past couple of years under the present Government, they said. During the former Chief Minister late Y S Rajasekhar Reddy's regime, the farmers were given free power, they added.
