He stated that Maoist-activities had come down significantly in the Mahamuttaram area. He said that the Police Department was able to control Maoist activities effectively in the district. Malla Reddy said that the Police Department would build residential quarters for police personnel, who are working in remote areas. District SP V Shiva Kumar, Officer on Special Duty L Subbarayudu, the CRPF’s 58 Battalion Commandant Aravind Kumar and other police officials were present.
