Online services in municipalities soon
Addressing the officials, the District Collector and others said building permissions through online system saves the time of the applicant and also allows him/her can know the status of the file on his mobile by sending a query SMS to the official concerned. A special software in this connection is under development, he added.
Suryapet: District Collector Surendra Mohan stated that online services would be started very shortly in all municipalities of erstwhile Nalgonda district to help people get building construction permissions in an easy way. In this connection, a training programme was conducted with municipal commissioners of Nalgonda, Suryapet and Yadadri at SV Engineering College in Suryapet on Friday.

He informed that Suryapet municipality was going to start online building permissions from January and would be the first municipality using online system for building permissions. Officials of municipality would conduct meetings to create awareness among the public about online permissions, he added.
Soft-tech Solutions senior manager Sanjay explained the project details to the commissioners and other officials through power point presentation. In this programme, Suryapet Municipal Chairperson Pravallika and Commissioner Surender participated.
