As a part of celebrations, Milad committee of Nalgonda organised a blood camp in association with Red Cross at Clock Tower. District Collector Gaurav Uppal launched the blood donation camp and stated that Prophet Mohammed taught equality, love, democracy and leadership. 

Nalgonda: Milad-un-Nabi was celebrated on a grand note in Nalgonda district on Monday. Muslims offered special prayers at mosques on the occasion of Prophet Mohammed’s birthday.

As a part of celebrations, Milad committee of Nalgonda organised a blood camp in association with Red Cross at Clock Tower. District Collector Gaurav Uppal launched the blood donation camp and stated that Prophet Mohammed taught equality, love, democracy and leadership.

He appreciated the Committee members for conducting the camp on auspicious day of Milad-un-Nabi. He appreciated a Ayyappa devotee AVSSR Murthy and SBI Manager Vishwanath who donated blood in the camp showing communal harmony. As many as 100 persons donated their blood in the camp.

The Committee also distributed fruits to patients and also conducted a free meal distribution programme at Baharpat in Nalgonda. Milad committee secretary Syed Abid, Jaleel Khan, Aleemuddin, Abrar, Zaheeruddin, Jamal Kadri, Shareef, Imran and others participated.
