T-wallet app launched in Kothagudem
District Collector Rajiv Gandhi Hanumanthu on Wednesday called for creation of public awareness on T-wallet app, which is being used as part of the ongoing cashless transactions.
Kothagudem: District Collector Rajiv Gandhi Hanumanthu on Wednesday called for creation of public awareness on T-wallet app, which is being used as part of the ongoing cashless transactions.
Speaking after formally launching the app in the Collectorate, he stressed that youth, particularly students of all educational institutions, should use the facility.
He pointed out that while all such apps introduced so far have been collecting fee, the T-wallet being offered by the IT Department was being extended free of cost. “
Hence, everyone should get acquainted with the process and use T-wallet. As most of the people using smartphones, this should not be impossible.
Now cashless transactions will become easy,” Hanumanthu stated, adding that the administration would create widespread awareness on T-wallet with the target of covering lakhs of people. Among those present were DRO Kiran Kumar and T-wallet organisers.
