Khammam: The National Council Member of the All India Kisan Sabha (AIKS), Nunna Nageshwar Rao, urged the farmers to attend in large numbers the 34th national conference of AIKS, to be held from October 3 to 6, in Hissar district of Haryana.
In this regard, a meeting was held with the representatives of AIKS under the leadership of Bandi Ramesh here at AIKS office in Khammam on Tuesday.
Speaking at the meeting, Nunna said demanding the Central government to waive the farm loans of farmers present across the country along with announcing the minimum support price for all agricultural products, a massive Kisan Rally would be organised on October 3 in Hissar town of Haryana and also a meeting would be conducted.
Along with the AIKS National Council representatives, the Chief Minister of Tripura State Manik Sarkar and national leaders of Rythu Sanghams and as many as 700 farmers from 25 States would take part in the Conference, he added.
Later, Nunna and AIKS representatives Madineni Ramesh, Thata Bhaskar Rao, S K Meersaheb and Aluri Raghu released a poster.
