Bhadrachalam: The state government has decided to hasten the Bhadradri temple development works which are likely to commence on November 9 or 28 during an auspicious muhurat to be fixed by noted seer China Jeeyar Swamy.

It may be recalled that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao had given his seal of approval to the temple development master plan, formulated by renowned architect Anand Sai and verified by Jeeyar Swamy. The Chief Minister is understood to have directed the Roads and Buildings Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao to hasten the temple works at a recent meeting in Hyderabad.

They are learnt to have decided to let China Jeeyar Swamy fix the muhurat for starting the works. Against this backdrop, Tummala held a review meeting with Anand Sai and temple Executive Officer E Prabhakara Srinivas in Bhadrachalam on Wednesday.

The muhurat is likely to be either on November 9 or November 28. Besides the Chief Minister, Tummala, Endowments Minister Allola Indrakaran Reddy, China Jeeyar Swamy and others would visit the temple town to launch the works.
