Addressing the newsmen at R&B Guest House in Bhongir on Monday, Bikshamaiah stated that KCR’s promise on Kaleshwaram project was a practical joke.
In view of 2019 elections, the government had started drama of Kaleshwaram to woo the voters of Yadadri district, he alleged.
“Even my son might never see Godavari water to Yadadri district during his life time,” Bikshamaiah mocked.
Stating that irrigation waters could be provided to Yadadri district from Tapaspally project by completing 5 km canal works, he challenged the local MLAs and other TRS public representatives to show their sanctity by stopping the water which has been diverted to Siddipet.
