Kodad: The State president of Bharatiya Janata Party, Dr K Laxman, felt that the party was spreading to all parts of the State. On Thursday, Laxman along with MLC Ramachander Rao toured Kodad and participated in a programme conducted by the local party unit. Speaking on the occasion, the saffron party leader said that clean image of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and welfare programmes by the Central government have been attracting all sections of people towards BJP.
“While people lost faith in the TRS government due to their autocratic rule, the main opposition party Congress with its scams is not raising its voice against the irregularities of the State government. As a result, people are looking up to BJP seeking transparent and fair rule,” he added. The BJP leader further informed that Loksatta Party state leader Suhasini and as many as 3,000 members from different parties and organisations in Kodad constituency had joined the saffron brigade.
Stating that taking peoples’ problems was their main agenda, Laxman stated that they would strengthen the party in Telangana by fighting for peoples’ issues. He informed that more meetings by PM Modi and party national president Amit Shah would be organised across the State in coming up days. Exuding confidence of winning of more Parliament and Assembly seats in 2019 elections in Telangana, he stated that BJP would emerge as single largest party in the State by winning the next general polls.
