Bhongir: District Congress Committee president Budida Bikshamaiah Goud criticised the government over non-payment of interest for crop loans under the loan waiver scheme. Speaking to the media at Rajapet mandal headquarters on Thursday, he said postcard campaign was going on in all the villages of the mandal demanding Tapaspally water. He demanded the government fill all the water bodies in the mandal for both drinking and irrigation purposes.

He asked the government to show its affection towards the farmers by paying all the pending interests to the waived off bank loans in order to relieve them from the clutches of bankers. Stating that the government had completely ignored the welfare of SCs and SC sub-plan, Chief Minster K Chandrashekar Rao had raised now raised curtains to BC sub-plan to betray the 52 per cent populated backward classes in the State, he said. All the oppressed and depressed sections of the State were getting ready to teach a lesson to TRS in 2019 elections, he underlined.

He expressed his displeasure over the government’s over action regarding arrests of unemployed youth during recent ‘Fight for Jobs’ (Koluvulakai Kotlata) meeting and arrest of opposition parties’ leaders who visited OU to console the death of PG student who allegedly committed suicide due to delay of employment notifications by the State government.
