Kothagudem: The traffic police on Friday conducted a programme to sensitise auto rickshaw drivers on traffic rules. DSP SM Ali, who was the chief guest, asking the three-wheeler drivers not to run the vehicle without licence, directed them not to park the vehicle haphazardly wherever they want.

He asked them to adhere to traffic rules and behave courteously towards customers. He asked them to pass on information about any crime, which they happened to encounter, immediately to the police. He asked the drivers to wear khakhi shirt without fail. He suggested the drivers to think about their family members while driving the vehicles on roads. If you drive consciously, no road accidents will take place, he added.

Three-wheelers are getting parked at main junctions in the town in large numbers, he rued and asked them to not park such a crowd place. CI Julurupadu Sampath Kumar, Chunchupalli CI Ravinder, three-town CI Shukoor, two-town CI Srinivas, SIs Anjaiah, Tirupati, Varun Prasad and other traffic police personnel were present at the programme.
