Mission Bhagiratha works in Nalgonda reviewed
Collector Gaurav Uppal ordered the officials concerned and contractors to complete the works of Mission Bhagiratha as per the schedule. On Wednesday, he reviewed scheme works in Devarakonda division.
Nalgonda: Collector Gaurav Uppal ordered the officials concerned and contractors to complete the works of Mission Bhagiratha as per the schedule. On Wednesday, he reviewed scheme works in Devarakonda division.
Addressing the officials, the Collector informed that he was giving special attention towards the works being carried out, and conducting meetings with officials and contractors regularly at an interval of 10 days.
He further informed that so far, uptake well at Kodandapuram, works of 50 MLD tank in Kodandapuram and 70 MLD tank in Batlapuram have been completed. The works of 90 MLD tank in Avanthipuram and 35 MLD tank in Pangal are under progress. He ordered the officials to speed up works at Kondamallepally and intra village pipeline works.
Responding to a plea of oustees of Akkampally Balancing Reservior, Uppal ordered the revenue officials to send a report on the grievances to him for necessary action.
Later, the Collector visited Kondamallepally Tahsildar office and inspected the functioning of office and services it was providing to people. Revenue Divisional Officer Lingya Naik, Bhagiratha SE Madhu Babu, RWS EE Paparao, local Tahsildar and others attended the review meeting.
