Self-employment beneficiaries urged to open twin bank accounts
District Collector Rajiv Gandhi Hanumanthu held a review meeting with the ST, SC, BC and Minority departments and bank officials here in the Collectorate on Tuesday. Addressing the meeting, he directed all officers ensure that beneficiaries of self-employment scheme of various departments to open twin bank accounts immediately.
Kothagudem: District Collector Rajiv Gandhi Hanumanthu held a review meeting with the ST, SC, BC and Minority departments and bank officials here in the Collectorate on Tuesday. Addressing the meeting, he directed all officers ensure that beneficiaries of self-employment scheme of various departments to open twin bank accounts immediately.
He directed the bank officers to submit utilisation certificates before the closing of the finance year, and cautioned that if the certificates were not submitted, the concerned departments would not release the funds. He also informed the officers to submit the list of agricultural land holders to the District Agricultural Officer.
The District Collector asked the officials to upload insurance details of farmers who had taken policies in the Agricultural Department website. State Bank of India Regional Manager D Ankama Rao, District Lead Bank officer Pulla Rao, TRICOR Special Officer David Raju, SC Corporation Executive Director Raju, Minority Welfare Officer Muthyam, District Agricultural Officer Abhimanyudu and other officials participated the meeting.
