243 new constables given postings in 4 districts of Telangana
As many as 243 constables, who completed their training in Hyderabad recently, had been given postings at various police stations in Khammam, Kothagudem, Mahabubabad and Jayashankar Bhupalpalli districts.
Khammam: As many as 243 constables, who completed their training in Hyderabad recently, had been given postings at various police stations in Khammam, Kothagudem, Mahabubabad and Jayashankar Bhupalpalli districts.
Commissioner of Police Tafseer Iqbal handed over posting orders to the constables concerned here at the Commissionerate office in Khammam on Wednesday.
Of the 243 constables, 52 members were posted as Armed Reserve constables and 19 as civil constables in Khammam district, 82 as AR constables and 68 as civil constables in Bhadradri-Kothagudem district, eight as AR constables in Jayashankar-Bhupalpalli and three as AR constables in Mahabubabad districts.
Speaking on the occasion, Tafseer Iqbal advised the newly-appointed constables to approach the commissionerate if they had any objections regarding their postings, so that necessary steps could be taken for rectify them.
He suggested the constables to discharge their duties diligently and work towards maintaining law and order besides being people-friendly.
