Motivate students not to drop-out In Khammam
District Educational Officer D Vasanthi directed the educational officers to motivate the drop-out students and their parents. She inaugurated Badi Bata at Indira Nagar School here on Monday.
Kothagudem: District Educational Officer D Vasanthi directed the educational officers to motivate the drop-out students and their parents. She inaugurated Badi Bata at Indira Nagar School here on Monday.
Speaking on the occasion, she told the teachers to identify the students, who would discontinue their studies from the next academic year, and to give counselling to the students and their parents as well. She appealed to the teachers to strive to increase the student strength.
Vasanthi informed that textbooks will be distributed to all students on the first day of the reopening of schools in next academic year. Earlier, a rally was taken out by the education department staff and others. Later, the DEO distributed prizes to students as a bid to encourage them to continue their studies. School headmaster, teachers and students participated in the programme.
