Nalgonda: MLC Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy here on Friday advised the government to provide minimum support price (MSP) to farm produce instead of providing financial aid of Rs 8,000 under Rythu Bandhu scheme. The assistance is not useful for small and marginal farmers, he said.
Speaking to the media in Nakrekal, Rajagopal Reddy described the Rythu Bandhu scheme as “a political stunt” to cheating the farmers to get their votes in the next elections. The scheme, he felt, would help the realtors, builders, and big farmers.
Stating that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao had never visited even a singly family of a farmer who committed suicide. The Chief Minister was only shedding crocodile tears for the farmers. He urged the people to teach a good lesson to KCR in 2019 elections.
He exuded confidence that the Congress would come to power in the State and at the Centre. He said the Congress would capture Nakrekal constituency in the next elections.
