Nalgonda: In gruesome incident, a farmer, Pati JanReddy (35), was brutally murdered at his agriculture fields on Sunday night at Enugula Dhori village under Narketpally mandal in the district.
Police said unidentified culprits had trussed the farmer up and tied him to the cot on which he was sleeping. Later, the culprits had slit his throat. On information, the police rushed to the spot with sniffer dogs and Clues team.
Villagers suspected that previous enmity could be the motive behind the murder. Narketpally policeshifted the body to government hospital in Nalgonda for post-mortem Sub-inspector Goverdhan filed a case and took up investigation.
