Grievances galore over Pattadar passbooks in Khammam
District Collector D S Lokesh Kumar, along with other officials, received grievances from the people on the occasion of Grievance Day at Zilla Parishad Conference Hall in Khammam on Monday.
Khammam: District Collector D S Lokesh Kumar, along with other officials, received grievances from the people on the occasion of Grievance Day at Zilla Parishad Conference Hall in Khammam on Monday.
People from all corners of the district attended for Grievance Day and submitted their complaints to the concerned officials. Most of the grievances received by the officials from people were related to Pattadar passbooks and cheques being distributed recently under the Rythu Bandhu Scheme in the district along with land issues, pensions and scholarships.
The District Collector issued orders to the concerned officials asking them to solve some of the grievances that were received from the people on the spot.
According to the rules and regulations of the government, Pattadar passbooks will be issued to all those people who own the land, assured the Collector.
The Collector directed the district and mandal level officials to take initiation for solving the grievances without any delay.
Zilla Parishad Chief Executive Officer Marapala Nagesh, Khammam Revenue Divisional Officer T Purnachandram, in-charge District Revenue Officer Madan Gopal and officials of various departments were present.
