Mahbubnagar: A missing man, who hailed from Suryapet district, was found murdered in Veldanda mandal in Nagarkurnool district. The deceased is identified as Somaiah.

The Suryapet police, after painstaking investigation, claimed here on Wednesday to have cracked the mystery behind the episode with the arrest of two brothers-in-law of Somaiah. He belonged to Nagaram village in Suryapet district.

The police, while narrating the sequence of events that led to the murder of Somaiah, said Krishna and Jangaiah had invited Somaiah to Peddapur village under Veldanda mandal, promising to repay the loan borrowed from him. Somaiah, believing the promise of his brothers-in-law, went to the village and fell victims to their plot.

The police said Krishna and Jangaiah hatched a plot and executed it four day ago. Even while Somaiah’s relatives lodged a complaint with the police in Suryapet, the duo murdered Somaiah and buried his body in their agriculture land.

The Suryapet police, who registered a case of missing, formed a special team to investigate into the incident. The police, basing on the call data of Somaiah, tracked him down. Interrogation of Somaiah’s brothers-in-law led to cracking of the mystery behind the missing man. The police took the duo into custody. The police are yet to exhume the body and sent it to post-mortem.
