Khammam: Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) two town committee here on Tuesday demanded that the police and the officials of the Roads and Buildings Department find a solution to the problem arising out of erection of barricades at Raparthinagar centre here.

CPI-M two town committee secretary Y Vikram here along with the party leaders visited Raparthinagar centre and interacted with people.

The Traffic Police erected barricades at the centre to prevent accident. But the barricades were posing a problem for the residents as they were forced to go round.

Vikram appreciated the police for taking steps to prevent accidents. He, however, pointed out that the people were forced to travel a long distance to take U-turn to reach their destinations.

He urged the officials of Traffic Police and R&B Department officials to change the U-turn place for the convenience of the people.

CPI-M party two town committee members Narra Ramesh, Bhukya Upendar, K Gurumurthy, Ch Bhadram, Manohar, Nagaraju and Srinu were among those who were present at the programme.
