He made surprise visit to Pochampally Tahsildar office and conducted a review meeting with revenue officials.

Later, speaking to the media, the Joint Collector advised the farmers not to worry about the mistakes crept into the first page of some pattadar passbooks. He advised the farmers to approach the Tahsildars in their respective areas for rectification.

Of the total 1. 56 lakh pattadar passbooks, so far 1.38 lakh passbooks were distributed to the farmers. Some errors were found in 12,000 pattadar passbooks, he said.

Stating that issue of many pattadar passbooks in Aler , valigonda and Pochampally mandals remained undistributed due to non-seeding of Aadhaar numbers. The seeding of numbers would be done with the help of Dharani website, he said.

The district administration procurement a record 2.08 tonne of paddy as against the target of 1.80 tonnes, the Joint Collector said and added that as much as Rs 220 crore was paid to the farmers. Tasildar Bhanu Prakash, RI Rajendra Prasad, MRI Narendra Chary, VROs Ramulu, Raghavendra, Jafar, Ravinder Rao, Lingaiah, Narsimha and others participated.
