With the motive to bring about a qualitative change, TRS president and Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao stated that they have begun taking steps to bring together like-minded political forces.

Speaking at the 17th plenary of TRS in suburban Kompally, Hyderabad today, KCR asserted that the Third Front is an alternative agenda, an invitation for a wider discussion for inviting public opinion.

TRS general secretary and Rajya Sabha member K Keshav Rao moved the resolution ‘The need for a movement to bring a qualitative change in national politics’ found resounding support at the plenary.

The resolution seconded by Karimnagar MP B Vinod Kumar comes in the wake of the party describing that the ‘unilateral’ style of functioning of successive Central governments over the past 70 years has yielded no results for the public.

The TRS Party said the decision-making style of the Central governments is causing administrative difficulties on individual States.

Keshav Rao said successive Central governments have been taking decisions based on petty political agendas resulting in the states being unable to make decisions or implement plans meeting the needs of their people.

He stated that they need to change this situation as the country needs a qualitative change in politics.

On behalf of the plenary, the TRS general secretary said that they will extend full support to KCR as he moves to unite the people of the country.
