He said this in the wake of the video of TDP MPs lampooning party MP CM Ramesh’s indefinite fast. The TDP MPs during their chitchat at the AP Bhavan ridiculed the fast. Murali Mohan is seen saying that he too wants to lose some weight. So, he too might go on a fast. This clip, which has gone viral has shaken the TDP and has put its leaders in a spot.
Termining it a cut and paste job, Chandrababu warned the party leaders about the conspirancies to defame the party. He held a tele-conference with the MPs and said that the MPs should behave more responsibly. He asked the party MPS not to fall pray to the machinations of the Opposition.
MPs Murali Mohan and Avanthi Srinivas said that their comments were distorted and that it was a cut and paste job.
