Police bust fake education certificate racket in Hyderabad, two arrested
Rachakonda police on Wednesday arrested two people for selling fake diploma certificates.
Rachakonda police on Wednesday arrested two people for selling fake diploma certificates.
The accused, identified as N Raghu, a native of Bollikunta in Warangal district teamed up with T Naga for indulging in the fraud.The police informed that Raghu made fake certificates with the help of Photoshop after scanning the original certificates and marks memos from the board of technical education while Naga too helped him in preparing the certificates. They were in turn used for getting a job or for matrimonial alliance purposes.
It is also learned that the duo was selling non-judicial stamp papers without a license. They carried the business via an internet cafe in Abdullapurmet. Police conducted raids on the cafe and arrested them. An amount of Rs 60,000, fake certificates, stamp papers were seized from the place.
