A man was caught in an inebriated condition during the Drunk and Drive checks in Hyderabad on Friday night. However, he created a ruckus by attempting suicide as he laid down in the middle of a busy road.
The police and journalists intervened and took him to safety. Speaking to the media, the man shared that he has been consuming alcohol as there are issues in his family and wants to end his life.
The accused even said that he has faced charges earlier.
During the checks, the police seized as many as 126 vehicles while the violators will be counselled at Begumpet police station.
