Hyderabad: After the protests were intensified due to the scrap of BA social sciences course, the director of Tata Institute of Social Sciences Prof Shalini Bharat said that the course has been scrapped temporarily due to the lack of infrastructure in the institution.
The director further said that the course will be shelved until the situation gets recovered. She also said that the TISS institutes in Guwahati and Tuljapur are offering the course.
TISS has closed hostel on the campus and scrapped the three-year BA social science programme following which the hostel has become a non-residential campus.
