Advani is a great leader and gave a lift to the BJP through his Rath Yatra, the people’s perception is something different. BJP had to learn from the defeat in 2004 elections after projecting Mr. L.K. Advani as the Prime Ministerial candidate. Had Mr. Vajpayee been retained as the PM candidate, though his health was not good, BJP could have won the elections.
People’s perception is most important than perceptions of the party members. If Mr. Narendra Modi is replaced by any other member, take it for granted, BJP is likely to lose the elections in 2019.We hope Mr. Narendra Modi will be projected as PM candidate and BJP will have land slide victory in the 2019 elections. We hope that BJP will maintain discipline and sincerity in this aspect. BJP / NDA should go by the people perception to retain power at Centre in 2019 elections.
