NRIs Celebrate Telangana State Formation in San Diego,USA

On June 06th, 2015 around 200 Telangana NRIs living in San Diego Area assembled at Lake Poway Park in San Diego under the banner of San Diego Telanganites to celebrate the 1st anniversary of Telangana state formation.
On June 06th, 2015 around 200 Telangana NRIs living in San Diego Area assembled at Lake Poway Park in San Diego under the banner of San Diego Telanganites to celebrate the 1st anniversary of Telangana state formation.
The event started off by paying tributes to those who sacrificed their lives for the sake of statehood achievement followed by cake cutting ceremony.
Speaking on the occasion, NRIs have reiterated their commitment towards building ‘Bangaru Telangana’ and also to enrich Telangana culture and traditions in San Diego.
A brain storming session was also held on how to link several investment firms, universities etc...with government of Telangana. Organizers extended vote of thanks to all the participants.
San Diego Telanganites is a group formed by the Telangana Non Resident Indians (T NRIs) living in San Diego to preserve the cultural identity and contribute to its development.
San Diego Telanganites is formed to provide a dais for literary, cultural, educational, social and developmental activities in San Diego and as well as in the state of Telangana, India.On this special occasion Smt.Manjula Reddy wife of Enugu Ravinder MLA along with Members from SANTA have graced the occasion.
