The delegation has submitted a representation to Rajnath Singh requesting him to give instructions to all the BJP-ruled States to bring an enactment on SC/ST Sub Plans on the lines of the Andhra Pradesh enactment. They also requested him to incorporate in their election manifesto to bring a national enactment on SC/ST Sub Plans as the elections are round the corner, according to a press release issued by CDS. He also promised to incorporate the same in their national agenda and election manifesto. He also promised to the delegation that as soon as their government is formed at the Centre in 2014, they will initiate steps to bring an enactment at national level and they are committed to the welfare of the SCs and STs.
