AAP Gets ‘Doctored’ CD From Election Commission. Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Sunday defended its leaders targeted by the controversial sting operation and claimed that the CD was doctored.

New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Sunday defended its leaders targeted by the controversial sting operation and claimed that the CD was doctored. The party accessed the raw footage of the sting operation from Election Commission (EC) and said that no wrongdoing by any of its candidates appeared on the tape.

A team led by AAP leader Yogendra Yadav that examined the footage said that the CD contained a "lot of problems" and that the 14-hour-long footage was manipulated, while addressing a press conference here. Yadav also said that the important views aired by the party members were edited and deleted from the CD.
The party is also planning to initiate legal action against those who had conducted the sting operation. AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal claimed that Rs. 1,400 crore was distributed in some media houses to defame the party. "I am told Rs. 1,400 crore have been distributed to a few media houses. Who are these media houses?" tweeted Kejriwal.
