Amidst a tightened security of 1600 armed police, Kejriwal has sworn in as the Chief Minister of Delhi. More 6 MLAs also have taken oath as the cabinet ministers in Kejriwal’s government.

Arvind Kejriwal is the second Chief Minister to swear-in as the Chief Minister of Delhi in an open ground. Earlier it was Sahib Singh, who took oath in an open ground. Kejriwal travelled by Metro rail to take part in the ceremony held at Ramleela Maidan.
