Parliament Winter Session-2 Legislative Agenda. The Winter Session of Parliament was held between December 5 and December 18, 2013. As the Winter Session was not prorogued, the second part of the Session will be held from February 5 to February 21. There will be a total of 12 sittings.

The Winter Session of Parliament was held between December 5 and December 18, 2013. As the Winter Session was not prorogued, the second part of the Session will be held from February 5 to February 21. There will be a total of 12 sittings.

39 Bills are listed in the agenda for the extended Winter Session. This includes consideration and passing of 29 Bills currently pending in Parliament. Four other Bills are listed for introduction, consideration and passing during the session. Six bills related to the interim budget will also be presented.

The Bills listed for consideration and passage include six key anti-corruption legislation: The Judicial Standards and Accountability Bill, 2012; The Whistle Blowers Protection Bill, 2011; The Prevention of Corruption (Amendment) Bill, 2013; The Right of Citizens for Time Bound Delivery of Goods and Services Bill, 2011; The Prevention of Bribery of Foreign Public Officials Bill, 2011 and The Public Procurement Bill, 2012.

The controversial Telangana Bill, the long pending Women’s Reservation Bill, and other important Bills such as The National Identification Authority of India Bill, 2010, The Civil Aviation Authority of India Bill, 2013; The Securities Laws (Amendment) Bill, 2013 and The Street Vendors Bill, 2012 are also listed for passage.
