The duo has been maintaining affiliation for quite some time. It is worth recollecting that Modi called on Rajinikanth at his residence when he went to Chennai for election campaigning.

Modi has invited all the people from whom he either has taken direct or indirect support during the election campaigning. From the other end, news making rounds that Pawan Kalyan would be sent to Rajya Sabha on Karanataka state BJP’s quota. This surely gives us the impression that Modi is keen to keep the relationships intact for long term benefit. Of course, it’s a good omen in the politics of democratic India.
